Thousands in Europe protest against bombing Syria

Nov 30th 2015, 16:18, by Shepard

By John Vibes | True Activist

The anti-war movement was reenergized this week in Europe, as thousands of protesters demonstrated against bombing campaigns in Syria that have recently been suggested by governments in the NATO alliance. Most of the protests were centralized in London, England and Madrid, Spain, but other smaller protests took place in various other locations throughout Europe.

The US, UK and other NATO allied countries have been pushing for further intervention in Syria under the pretense of fighting ISIS. However, Western governments have proven that their primary interests in the region involve regime change, and ousting Syrian President Assad from power for their own interests. To make matters worse, the air strikes that have already taken place in the region have threatened the lives of innocent people, killing civilians more often than they kill terrorists.

Stop the War Coalition protest movement said in a statement that,

Prime Minister David Cameron’s incoherent proposals for action in Syria will do nothing to weaken ISIL, but will instead inflame the civil war, deepen the misery of the Syrian people, and increase the terrorist risk.

Sadly, there have been no large-scale protests of this nature in the US, despite the fact that the US military has been extremely active in the Middle East over the past two decades.

Putin deploys 150k troops to Syria, Turkey blockades Russian Navy

Putin set to mobilize 150,000 reservists he conscripted in September

Next News Network

Vladimir Putin has ordered 150,000 Russian Troops to Syria; to put down all Terrorist groups and put an end to the Civil War there.

The Russian president is reportedly mounting an enormous military mission to take control of the terror group’s stronghold of Raqqa.

The city is the self-declared capital of ISIS in Syria and is patrolled by as many as 5,000 jihadi members.

Putin is set to mobilize the 150,000 reservists who he conscripted into military service in September.

To make matters worse, Turkey has begun a de facto blockade of Russian naval vessels, preventing transit through the Dardanelles and the Strait of Bosporus, between the Black Sea and Mediterranean.

According to the AIS tracking system for the movement of maritime vessels, only Turkish vessels are moving along the Bosphorus, and in the Dardanelles there is no movement of any shipping at all.

At the same time, both from the Black Sea, and from the Mediterranean Sea, there is a small cluster of ships under the Russian flag, just sitting and waiting

In addition, shipping inside the Black Sea from Novorossiisk and Sevastopol in the direction of the Bosphorus, no Russian vessels are moving.

This indirectly confirms the CNN statement that Turkey may have blocked the movement of Russian ships on the Dardanelles and the Strait of Bosphorus under the Treaty of the Montreux Convention Regarding the Regime of the Straits.

We’ll continue to monitor these wartime escalations as more information becomes available.

Leftist thought police move to silence all criticism of abortion in aftermath of Planned Parenthood shooting

Leftist media pundits and “doctors” compare speaking out against abortion to murder

alexBy Alex Thomas | Email Author

(INTELLIHUB) — In the aftermath of the attack on a Colorado Planned Parenthood, media pundits, leftist physicians, and top abortion provider officials have gone on the record with their belief that speaking out against abortion in any way is a form of harassment that should be made illegal under threat of government force.

Couple this with the fact that these same media pundits and leftist academics have labeled the attack as “white terrorism” caused by horrible Republicans and you have a transparent portrait of the playbook being used by these control freak authoritarians.

Blame white people. Blame pro-life protesters. Blame the 2nd Amendment. Blame secretly recorded videos. Blame the entire Republican Party.

And of course the most important one of all, vote for Hillary or you hate women and support attacking abortion providers.

Speaking out against abortion now equals violence

In perhaps the most stunning narrative to come out of the left in the aftermath of the shooting at the abortion giant is the claim by multiple “doctors” and media pundits that merely speaking out against abortion is a form of violence on par with an actual shooting.

In an article for the hard left news outlet Slate, OB-GYN physician and medical “journalist” Jennifer Conti makes this startling narrative perfectly clear while also transparently revealing that without this absurd narrative the idea that abortion providers are under attack would be completely debunked.

As news continues to unfold about Friday’s Planned Parenthood shooting in Colorado Springs, one thing is clear: Domestic terrorism remains unchecked, even on the day after Thanksgiving.

To label this an isolated act of violence would be naïve. In 2015 alone, there has been unprecedented harassment from anti-choice extremists, including most recently, a series of slanderous manipulated videos used to attack Planned Parenthood’s fetal tissue donation programs. And now this.

There you have it. In the liberal mind, domestic terrorism against abortion providers is a major issue and the proof of that is not the most recent obviously isolated incident in Colorado but the fact that a pro-life group released videos exposing the horrors of what actually happens inside a Planned Parenthood clinic.

Domestic terrorism is now being redefined as speech that liberals do not agree with and if you do not go along with this sort of new age thought control then you must hate women and want to kill people.

Americans throughout the country now find themselves at a crossroads where their first amendment protected speech is now being redefined in major media outlets as actual terrorism in a disgusting attempt at silencing ALL criticism of abortion.

And make no mistake, these authoritarian liberals are pushing and will continue to push the idea that we need the government to pass new legislation that would make speaking out against abortion a hate crime.

You do not like baby parts being sold so you shared one of the undercover videos on your Facebook page? To people like Conti you are a domestic terrorist.

CNN blatant propaganda

As if labeling speaking out against abortion a form of domestic terrorism wasn’t enough, government propaganda specialists at CNN just couldn’t help themselves in their transparent and lame attempt at convincing the public that the Colorado shooting was the “latest” in a string of attacks on abortion providers.

In reality, there literally hasn’t been an actual attack before Colorado’s Planned Parenthood shooting since 2009.

A report by Truth Revolt exposed this hysterical nonsense by CNN as nothing more than straight up leftist propaganda aimed at convincing Americans to support abortion.

“On CNN, a reporter played the “But if it is” game on whether or not the shooting at a Planned Parenthood facility in Colorado Springs was the result of the shooter targeting the clinic over their abortion practices, calling it the “latest” such incident,” reported Caleb Howe.

“If this was a targeting of Planned Parenthood it would be the latest in a string of attacks on abortion providing facilities or on doctors who work with them.”

If it was, you see. But this is a very liberal (pun intended) use of the words “latest” and ‘string”, which imply an ongoing series of attacks. That impression is belied by the information he actually provides to back up his claim.

The most recent fatal attack was six and a half years ago, Dr. George Tiller, shot and killed inside his church in Wichita, Kanasas, on May 31, 2009.

If you think that is a reach on the implication of an ongoing pattern of attacks, his next one is even moreso.

Also in October of 1998 Dr. Barnett Slepian who worked at an abortion providing clinic in Buffalo, New York, he was shot through the window of his kitchen with a high-powered rifle.

There have also been bombings of abortion clinics in the United States. In January 1998 ….

Well, you get the picture. 18 years ago next month. The number of fatalities in attacks on abortionists & abortion clinics between January of 2000 and October 2015: One. As of the time of this article, that number has not increased.

This is a perfect example of a major media network hoping its viewers are mostly uninformed idiots who would swallow the obvious lie that a string of attacks equals one attack in 2015 and the next most recent in 2009.

It’s also important to note that all three major cable networks, including Fox News, have aired the outright bullshit being spewed by top Planned Parenthood officials (you know the great people making hundreds of thousands of dollars a year selling abortion) without so much as one rebuttal.

This is allowing the hard left to lead the conversation and to frame speaking out against abortion as actual terrorism.

Police disinformation and obvious cover-up over real shooting motive

In yet another sign that nothing the mainstream media is reporting about this shooting should actually be believed, police “sources” in Colorado have told NBC News that the suspect mentioned “baby parts” in a rant made to police after his arrest.

This claim is being parroted by the mainstream media and hard left news websites as gospel and all the proof they need to continue to claim that merely opposing abortion and actively talking about this opposition is a form of terrorism.

The problem? For starters, anonymous police leaks are notoriously unreliable and are usually done to further whatever agenda the police and or media are already promoting. Think back to any police shooting that eventually was revealed to be illegal and you have these same anonymous leaks from police, always containing information that puts the police in a good light and or further whatever media narrative is being pushed at the time.

Couple this with the fact that the American people are being expected to believe that speaking out against baby parts has led to the shooting in Colorado yet police in the state have already declared their intent to seal the warrants, thus censoring any of the actual information as to why the shooter carried out the attack, and you have all the makings of a cover-up.

If police are so sure that the shooter spoke about baby parts why are they purposefully making it impossible to confirm this claim?

At this point there is literally no actual evidence (high possibility they are “making” this evidence as we speak) that the shooter carried out the attack because he saw the viral undercover videos and even if he did the idea that speaking out against killing babies is a form of violence is absolutely ridiculous and even more proof of the push by the hard left to criminalize any speech they disagree with.

Former CIA Deputy Director gives stunning reason why Obama has not attacked ISIS’ oil infrastructure

Nov 30th 2015, 03:16, by Shepard

By Tyler Durden | ZeroHedge

As we pointed out a week ago, even before the downing of the Russian jet by a Turkish F-16, the most important question that nobody had asked about ISIS is where is the funding for the terrorist organization coming from, and more importantly, since everyone tacitly knows where said funding is coming from (as we have revealed in an ongoing series of posts “Meet The Man Who Funds ISIS: Bilal Erdogan, The Son Of Turkey’s President“, “How Turkey Exports ISIS Oil To The World: The Scientific Evidence” and “ISIS Oil Trade Full Frontal: “Raqqa’s Rockefellers”, Bilal Erdogan, KRG Crude, And The Israel Connection“) few on the US-led Western Alliance have done anything to stop the hundreds of millions in oil sale proceeds from funding the world’s best organized terrorist group.

We concluded by asking “how long until someone finally asks the all important question regarding the Islamic State: who is the commodity trader breaching every known law of funding terrorism when buying ISIS crude, almost certainly with the tacit approval by various “western alliance” governments, and why is it that these governments have allowed said middleman to continue funding ISIS for as long as it has?

To be sure, the only party that actually did something to halt ISIS’ oil infrastructure was Russia, whose bombing raids of Islamic State oil routes may not only have contributed to the fatal attack by Turkey of the Russian Su-24 (as the curtailment of ISIS’ oil flows led to a big hit in the funds collected by the biggest middleman in the region, Turkey, its president and his son, Bilal not to mention Israel which may have been actively buying ISIS oil over the past year) but prompted questions why the bombing campaign by the US-led alliance had been so woefully incapable of hitting ISIS where it truly hurts: its funding.

This past week, someone finally came up with a “reason” why the Obama administration had been so impotent at denting the Islamic State’s well-greased oil machine. In an interview on PBS’ Charlie Rose on Tuesday, Rose pointed out that before the terrorist attacks in Paris, the U.S. had not bombed ISIS-controlled oil tankers, to which the former CIA deputy director Michael Morell responded that Barack Obama didn’t order the bombing of ISIS’s oil transportation infrastructure until recently because he was concerned about environmental damage.

Yes, he really said that:

We didn’t go after oil wells, actually hitting oil wells that ISIS controls, because we didn’t want to do environmental damage, and we didn’t want to destroy that infrastructure.

In other words, one can blame such recent outbreaks of deadly terrorist activity as the Paris bombings and the explosion of the Russian passenger airplane over Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula on Obama’s hard line stance to not pollute the atmosphere with the toxic aftermath of destroyed ISIS infrastructure.

As the Daily Caller adds, Morell also said the White House was concerned about destroying infrastructure that could be used by the Syrian people. Such profound concern for a people which has been traumatized for the past 5 years courtesy of a US-funded effort to destabilize the nation courtesy of US-armed “rebels” whose only purpose has been the deposition of yet another elected president, and where the emergence of the CIA-created Islamic State has led to the biggest wave of refugees to emerge, and flood Europe, since World War II.

But back to Obama’s alleged decision that not polluting the environment is more important than halting the funding artery that keeps ISIS in business.

Morell continued “Prior to Paris, there seemed to be a judgment that … look, we don’t want to destroy these oil tankers because that’s infrastructure that’s going to be necessary to support the people when ISIS isn’t there anymore, and it’s going to create environmental damage. And we didn’t go after oil wells – actually hitting oil wells that ISIS controls because we didn’t want to do environmental damage and we didn’t want to destroy that infrastructure, right.”

Then we started asking questions, others joined in, and everything changed: “So now we’re hitting oil in trucks and maybe you get to the point where you say we also have to hit oil wells. So those are the kind of tough decisions you have to make.”

Of course, the lunacy gets even more ridiculous when one recalls that none other than one of the democrat frontrunners for president, Bernie Sanders, suggested in all seriousness that the real cause for terrorism is climate change, an allegation subsequently echoed by both UK’s Prince Charles and none other than the chief of the UN, Ban Ki-moon himself.

So here is the purported logic: climate change leads to terrorism, but one can’t eradicate the primary funding source of the biggest terrorist threat in the world, the Islamic State, because of dangers it may lead to even more environmental damage and climate change.

We are truly speechless at this idiocy.

Meanwhile, the real reasons behind ISIS massive wealth build up: the illicit oil trade facilitated by, and involving NATO-member state Turkey, whose president and his son collect billions in illegal profits by arranging the charter of Islamic State oil to Israel and other international buyers of ISIS’ cheap oil, and which involves such “highly respected” commodity traders as Trafigura and Vitol, continues to this day, and only Putin has done anything to put a dent in it.

For those who can’t believe any of this (and it took us quite a while to realize this is not some elaborate prank) here is the clip proving the former CIA deputy director actually said it all.

Central Banks are getting down to fumes: Asset Manager

Will central banks soon collapse?

Daily Coin

If we don’t protect ourselves from the unfolding economic collapse who will? Do you trust the government, be it local, state or federal, to provide for you and your family? Do you honestly believe the government will provide for you?

The writing is on the wall as the central banks around the world play games with the monetary systems and create scenarios never even dreamed of and now these games are having a direct impact on our lives.

I sat down with Eric Sprott, Sprott Asset Management, to discuss the state of affairs, both here in the U.S. and around the world. Rigged markets, gold and silver, were all on the table as one would expect during a conversation with Mr. Sprott, but we also discussed the coming changes with the SCO, the Silk Road and EEU. The alliance between China and Russia can not be denied. If you are not watching this with purpose, today would be a good day to begin your research. The U.S. dollar is changing and the only reason the dollar appears to be strong is because the currencies in which it is measured are so weak. The dollar is failing and the Chinese Renminbi (yuan) is gathering strength. The Chinese have all but said the time of a reserve currency has pasted, it is time for a different way of conducting global trade. The Chinese have direct currency swaps with close to 30 of the largest economies in the world. This cuts the dollar out of the trade which means none of these countries conducting business with China need to hold U.S. dollars. This means the dollars in their vaults, around the world, will soon be coming home. The luxuries our American society has enjoyed for the past 50 years are ending. With a gutted manufacturing base how do we get out of this mess created by the Federal Reserves monetary policies?

Let’s listen in to Eric Sprott and hear what he has to offer.

Paris attacks work to UN’s advantage

PARIS, France (INTELLIHUB) — One-hundred and fifty heads of government, a.k.a. the elite, are gathering over the course of the next few weeks for a massive climate summit that’s anticipated to attract and indoctrinate over 40,000 visitors from around the globe.

The summit, dubbed COP21, is sponsored by the United Nations (UN) and will reportedly focus on combating climate change. However it’s doubtful that geoengineering, which ironically is mostly to blame for current climate patterns, will even be a topic of interest to scheduled speakers. To boot any chance of that information making it out to the general public is limited as 24 activists have already been placed under house arrest.

Additionally, and most importantly, ’emergency powers’ declared in wake of the recent Paris attacks, in the name of terrorism, were extended for a period of up to 90-days by the country’s leadership allowing for such activists to be jailed in advance of the summit or at anytime within period leaving us several possibilities to chew on.

One possibility we can entertain would be that the attacks may have been staged or carried out in a manner to ramp-up security ahead of the summit on purpose which would ultimately quell all protests and send a strong message to onlookers. And to be perfectly honest this option is completely plausible. I mean after all it has already been confirmed that active shooter drills were being conducted across the city by officials that very morning, just like they were during the infamous ‘7/7 bombings.’ I mean really–what would be the chances of that? Need I say anymore?

Okay I will.

If we were to trust the beloved French Parliament we could also assume another possibility; one that suggests the attacks actually did occur just as reported. However maybe the powers-that-be just couldn’t let the crisis go to waste so-to-speak and captivated on it; something Chi Town’s Rahm Emanuel also aspires to do, likely after reading too many Winston Churchill quotes as a child. Either way the arrests were conducted and more will be on the way.

Reuters confirms the arrests took place ahead of the summit and reported how the Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve, “said the activists were suspected of planning violent protests at the talks which kick off on Sunday, a day ahead of the opening ceremony, and run until Dec. 11.”

“These 24 people have been placed under house arrest because they have been violent during demonstrations in the past and because they have said they would not respect the state of emergency,” Cazeneuve said in a speech in Strasbourg.

While authorities know that these people have no connection to terror movements they have still managed to silence their voices.

Jeff Nielson: Silver’s thirty year mystery

Nov 28th 2015, 15:05, by Shepard

By Rory | Daily Coin

Jeff Nielson, Bullion Bulls Canada, recently penned “Thirty Years of Silver Supply Deficit“. After diving into this article I thought it would be a good idea to have Jeff explain some of this to a larger audience. Steve St. Angelo, SRSrocco Report, was the spark for Jeff’s analysis, when Steve penned OFFICIAL RELEASE: World Silver Deficits –12 Years Running Mr. St. Angelo reviewed the past twelve years and that was the missing piece that Jeff needed to tie all of his work together.

The following two-part interview is a compelling review of what has happened, what is happening now and what could happen in light of the geopolitical situations playing out around the world today.

“Russia and China, of course, call them “parallel” today, but they must snicker behind the scenes when they use that word, because they are not “parallel institutions” they are replacement institutions.” Jeff referring to the financial and monetary systems and institutions that Russia and China have built up over the past decade to replace the IMF, BIS, US Dollar, SWIFT and the list goes on.

Within the next fews days the IMF will make their recommendation regarding the inclusion of the Chinese Renminbi (Yuan) in the Special Drawing Rights (SDR) basket of currencies. China has felt for a number of years the Renminbi should be included as it one of the most used currencies in the world. It is no secret that China has been creating direct currency swaps with some of the largest economies in the world. This means when, for example, China conducts business with Japan neither country is required to use the US Dollar as a settlement currency. These two countries simply conduct the trade using swapping Japanese Yen for Chinese Renminbi. This is a direct threat to the US Dollar hegemony. We discuss the implications of how the Renminbi being including or not being included in the SDR will impact gold, silver and the global markets.

“If the West has no gold it doesn’t really matter if China has five thousand tons or twenty-five thousand tons…it is still the central power. It doesn’t matter if Russia has three thousand tons or fifteen thousand tons, it’s number two. If the majority of gold is being held in those Eastern powers, it doesn’t really matter if it’s a total of ten thousand tons or a total of thirty thousand tons because that’s just a function of price…“

And that ladies and gentlemen is one of the main reasons for holding physical gold and physical silver. The power is shifting East. The US and the Western world are rapidly becoming a nonissue and the corrupt, criminality associated with the US Dollar debt instrument, are going to be of little function in the coming years and decades. If you want your children to have a chance in the coming new economy, please hedge your bet and acquire at least a little gold and a little silver. Otherwise, they will be washed away in debt.

Jeff breaks it all down and delivers one the best views of what has happened over the past thirty years with silver and how this will affect all of us going forward.

UPDATE: As you will hear in Part II, I explain to Jeff that the U.S. can not win a war against Russia and China. Dr. Paul Craig Roberts confirms, in a must listen interview, explains the Russians do in fact have weapons the West knew nothing about and one of these new weapons has the ability to scramble ALL lines of communication over vast areas.

How Turkey exports ISIS oil to the world: The scientific evidence

Nov 28th 2015, 14:39, by Shepard

gas pumpClay Junell/Flickr
By Tyler Durden | ZeroHedge

Over the course of the last four or so weeks, the media has paid quite a bit of attention to Islamic State’s lucrative trade in “stolen” crude.

On November 16, in a highly publicized effort, US warplanes destroyed 116 ISIS oil trucks in Syria. 45 minutes prior, leaflets were dropped advising drivers (who Washington is absolutely sure are not ISIS members themselves) to “get out of [their] trucks and run away.”

The peculiar thing about the US strikes is that it took The Pentagon nearly 14 months to figure out that the most effective way to cripple Islamic State’s oil trade is to bomb… the oil.

Prior to November, the US “strategy” revolved around bombing the group’s oil infrastructure. As it turns out, that strategy was minimally effective at best and it’s not entirely clear that an effort was made to inform The White House, Congress, and/or the public about just how little damage the airstrikes were actually inflicting. There are two possible explanations as to why Centcom may have sought to make it sound as though the campaign was going better than it actually was, i) national intelligence director James Clapper pulled a Dick Cheney and pressured Maj. Gen. Steven Grove into delivering upbeat assessments, or ii) The Pentagon and the CIA were content with ineffectual bombing runs because intelligence officials were keen on keeping Islamic State’s oil revenue flowing so the group could continue to operate as a major destabilizing element vis-a-vis the Assad regime.

Ultimately, Russia cried foul at the perceived ease with which ISIS transported its illegal oil and once it became clear that Moscow was set to hit the group’s oil convoys, the US was left with virtually no choice but to go along for the ride. Washington’s warplanes destroyed another 280 trucks earlier this week. Russia claims to have vaporized more than 1,000 transport vehicles in November.

Of course the most intriguing questions when it comes to Islamic State’s $400 million+ per year oil business, are: where does this oil end up and who is facilitating delivery? In an effort to begin answering those questions we wrote:

Turkey’s role in facilitating the sale of Islamic State oil has been the subject of some debate for quite a while. From “NATO is harbouring the Islamic State: Why France’s brave new war on ISIS is a sick joke, and an insult to the victims of the Paris attacks“, by Nafeez Ahmed:

“Turkey has played a key role in facilitating the life-blood of ISIS’ expansion: black market oil sales. Senior political and intelligence sources in Turkey and Iraq confirm that Turkish authorities have actively facilitated ISIS oil sales through the country. Last summer, Mehmet Ali Ediboglu, an MP from the main opposition, the Republican People’s Party, estimated the quantity of ISIS oil sales in Turkey at about $800 million—that was over a year ago. By now, this implies that Turkey has facilitated over $1 billion worth of black market ISIS oil sales to date.”

Here’s what former CHP lawmaker Ali Ediboglu said last year:

“$800 million worth of oil that ISIS obtained from regions it occupied this year [the Rumeilan oil fields in northern Syria — and most recently Mosul] is being sold in Turkey. They have laid pipes from villages near the Turkish border at Hatay. Similar pipes exist also at [the Turkish border regions of] Kilis, Urfa and Gaziantep. They transfer the oil to Turkey and parlay it into cash. They take the oil from the refineries at zero cost. Using primitive means, they refine the oil in areas close to the Turkish border and then sell it via Turkey. This is worth $800 million.”

Earlier this month, Ediboglu told Russian media that “ISIL holds the key to these deposits and together with a certain group of persons, consisting of those close to Barzani and some Turkish businessmen, they are engaged in selling this oil” (“Barzani” is a reference to Masoud Barzani, President of the Iraqi Kurdistan Region).

But even as Turkey’s ties to the ISIS oil trade have been hiding in plain sight for the better part of two years, the Western media largely ignores the issue (or at least the scope of it and the possible complicity of the Erdogan government) because after all, Turkey is a NATO member.

Unfortunately for Ankara, Erdogan’s move to shoot down a Russian Su-24 near the Syrian border on Tuesday prompted an angry Vladimir Putin to throw Turkey under the ISIS oil bus for the entire world to see. Here’s what Putin said yesterday after a meeting in Moscow with French President Francois Hollande:

“Vehicles, carrying oil, lined up in a chain going beyond the horizon. The views resemble a living oil pipe stretched from ISIS and rebel controlled areas of Syria into Turkey. Day and night they are going to Turkey. Trucks always go there loaded, and back from there – empty. We are talking about a commercial-scale supply of oil from the occupied Syrian territories seized by terrorists. It is from these areas [that oil comes from], and not with any others. And we can see it from the air, where these vehicles are going.”

“We assume that the top political leadership of Turkey might not know anything about this [illegal oil trade although that’s] hard to believe,” Putin continued, adding that “if the top political leadership doesn’t know anything about this, let them find out.”

Obviously, Putin is being sarcastic. He very clearly believes that the Erdogan government is heavily involved in the transport and sale of ISIS crude. In the immediate aftermath of the Su-24 incident, Putin said the following about Ankara:

As part of our continuing effort to track and document the ISIS oil trade, we present the following excerpts from a study by George Kiourktsoglou, Visiting Lecturer, University of Greenwich, London and Dr Alec D Coutroubis, Principal Lecturer, University of Greenwich, London. The paper, entitled “ISIS Gateway To Global Crude Oil Markets,” looks at tanker charter rates from the port of Ceyhan in an effort to determine if Islamic State crude is being shipped from Southeast Turkey.

The tradesmen/smugglers responsible for the transportation and sale of the black gold send convoys of up to thirty trucks to the extraction sites of the commodity. They settle their trades with ISIS on site, encouraged by customer friendly discounts and deferred payment schemes.  In this way, crude leaves Islamic State-run wells promptly and travels through insurgent-held parts of Syria, Iraq and Turkey.

Since allied U.S. air-raids do not target the truck lorries out of fear of provoking a backlash from locals, the transport operations are being run efficiently, taking place most of times in broad daylight. Traders lured by high profits are active in Syria (even in government-held territories), Iraq and south-east Turkey.

The supply chain comprises the following localities: Sanliura, Urfa, Hakkari, Siirt, Batman, Osmaniya, Gaziantep, Sirnak, Adana, Kahramarmaras, Adiyaman and Mardin. The string of trading hubs ends up in Adana, home to the major tanker shipping port of Ceyhan.

Ceyhan is a city in south-eastern Turkey, with a population of 110,000 inhabitants, of whom 105,000 live in the major metropolitan area. It is the second most developed and most populous city of Adana Province, after the capital Adana with a population of 1,700,000. It is situated on the Ceyhan River which runs through the city and it is located 43 km east of Adana. Ceyhan is the transportation hub for Middle Eastern, Central Asian and Russian oil and natural gas (Municipality of Ceyhan 2015).

The port of Ceyhan plays host to a marine oil terminal that is situated in the Turkish Mediterranean and has been operating since 2006. It receives hydrocarbons for further loading in tankers, which carry the commodity to world markets.

Additionally, the port features a cargo pier and an oil-terminal, both of 23.2m depth that can load tankers of more than 500 feet in length ( 2015). The annual export capacity of the terminal runs as high as 50 million tonnes of oil. The terminal is operated by Botas International Limited (BIL), a Turkish state company that also operates the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline on the territory of Turkey.

The quantities of crude oil that are being exported to the terminal in Ceyhan, exceed the mark of one million barrels per day. Putting this number into context and given that ISIS has never been able to trade daily more than 45,000 barrels of oil (see Section 2, ‘The Upstream Oil Business of ISIS’, page 2), it becomes evident that the detection of similar quantities of smuggled crude cannot take place through stock-accounting methods. However, the authors of the present paper believe that there is another proxy-indicator, far more sensitive to quantities of ultracheap smuggled crude. This is the charter rates for tankers loading at Ceyhan.

The Baltic Exchange (2015 a) tracks the charter rates on major seaborne trading routes of crude oil. To render its service more efficient and easily understood, it uses the system of Baltic Dirty Tanker Indices (Baltic Exchange 2015 b). One of these indices used to be the BDTI TD 11, 80,000 Cross Mediterranean from Baniyas, Syria to Laveras, France (see Map VI). Route 11 was discontinued in September 2011, due to Syria’s civil war and soon thereafter, it was replaced by BDTI TD 19 (TD19-TCE_Calculation 2015), of exactly the same technical specifications as BDTI TD 11, with the exception of the loading port of Ceyhan instead of Baniyas.

From July 2014 until February 2015, the curve of TD 19 features three unusual spikes that do not match the trends featured by the rest of the Middle East trade-routes (see Graph IV):

  1. The first spike develops from the 10th of July 2014 until the 21st, lasting approximately ten days. It coincides with the fall of Syria’s largest oil field, the AlOmar, in the hands of ISIS (Reuters 2014);
  2. The second spike takes place from the end of October until the end of November 2014, lasting one month. It happens at the same time with fierce fighting between fundamentalists and the Syrian army over the control of the Jhar and Mahr gas fields, as well as the Hayyan gas company in the east of Homs province (International Business Times 2014; Albawada News 214);
  3. The third spike lasts from the end of January 2015 until the 10th of February, stretching roughly ten days. It happens simultaneously with a sustained US-led campaign of airstrikes pounding ISIS strongholds in and around the town of Hawija east of the oil-rich Kirkuk (Rudaw 2015);

The authors of this paper would like to make it clear from the very beginning that this has not been the case of a ‘smoking gun’. The evidence has been inconclusive. But even if volumes of ISIS crude found their way, beyond any reasonable doubt, to the international crude oil markets via the Ceyhan terminal, this fact would not conclusively point to collusion between the Turkish authorities and the shadow network of smugglers, let alone ISIS operatives.

However, having clarified such a politically sensitive issue, the authors believe that there are strong hints to an illicit supply chain that ships ISIS crude from Ceyhan. Primary research points to a considerably active shadow network of crude oil smugglers and traders (see section 2.1, page 3), who channel ISIS crude to southeast Turkey from northeast Syria and northwest Iraq. Given the existence of Route E 90, the corresponding transportation of oil poses no unsurmountable geographic and topological challenges.

An additional manifestation of the invisible nexus between Ceyhan and ISIS became evident through the concurrent study of the tanker charter rates from the port and the timeline of the terrorists’ military engagements (see section 3.4 on this page). It seems that whenever the Islamic State is fighting in the vicinity of an area hosting oil assets, the 13 exports from Ceyhan promptly spike. This may be attributed to an extra boost given to crude oil smuggling with the aim of immediately generating additional funds, badly needed for the supply of ammunition and military equipment. Unfortunately, in this case too, the authors cannot be categorical.

*  *  *

No, it can’t be categorical and frankly, if the authors claimed to have discovered indisputable proof, we would be immediately skeptical. What they have done however, is identify a statistical anomaly and develop a plausible theory to explain it.

The key thing to note, is that this is a state-run terminal and it certainly seems as though charter rates spike around significant oil-related events involving Islamic State. Indeed, the fact that the authors mention collusion between Turkish authorities and ISIS operatives (even if they do so on the way to hedging their conclusions) indicates that the researchers think such a partnership is possible.

Finally, note that Ceyhan is less than two hours by car from Incirlik air base from which the US is flying anti-ISIS sorties. In other words, ISIS oil is being shipped to the world right down the road from Washington’s preferred Mid-East forward operating base.

Now that we can add what looks like quantitative evidence that ISIS oil is shipped from Turkey to the voluminous qualitative evidence supplied by ex-Turkish lawmakers, investigative reporters, and the Russian government (to name just a few sources), we can now proceed to consider one final question: where does the crude that helps to fund Bakr al-Baghdadi’s caliphate ultimately end up? More on that over the weekend.

New Ebola cases surface in “Ebola free” Liberia

Nov 27th 2015, 20:28, by Shepard

By Mac Slavo | SHTFPlan

The threat from ebola remains quite real, and there is legitimate concern over whether or not the world’s health experts are really capable of containing it.

The West African nation of Liberia has once again been reminded that it must remain vigilant and mindful of the terrible power that ebola has in its capacity to transform into a deadly epidemic.

Just months after being declared ebola free – twice now – the country has again been plagued by new cases.

Authorities aren’t sure how the recent outbreak of ebola happened, but know that it could once again be spreading. Live Science reports:

The death of a 15-year-old boy from Ebola in Liberia — a country that has been declared free of the disease twice — raises the question of why cases are still popping up in the country, experts say.

The teenager, who died Tuesday (Nov. 24), tested positive for the disease last week. His brother and father are also infected, and more than 150 people with whom the boy may have come into contact are now being monitored, according to Reuters.

“This is concerning and somewhat surprising,” said Dr. Amesh Adalja, an infectious-disease specialist and a senior associate at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center’s Center for Health Security.

Among other factors, health workers learned during the most recent outbreaks that the virus for ebola can turn up in sperm long after the ordinary incubation period and/or recovery, and can be spread through sexual contact – even six months later:

Ebola could be sexually transmitted as much as six months or more after a patient has fully recovered from the disease, the World Health Organization (WHO) and U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) have now warned based on recent findings. Until further notice, the agencies said, Ebola survivors should make sure they use safer sex practices, such as those effective at protecting against the transmission of HIV.

Although there had been prior evidence that Ebola might be transmitted sexually, experts said the sheer scale of the Ebola outbreak made it impossible to test that hypothesis. Now, with fewer people falling sick, researchers are better able to trace suspected cases. In addition, the WHO, CDC and Sierra Leone’s health ministry are now planning a study to test how long the Ebola virus remains in the semen, urine, breast milk and other bodily fluids of survivors following a negative blood test.

“The problem is we haven’t looked at a large number of cases,” said CDC Ebola researcher Stuart Nichol.

If Ebola is indeed sexually transmissible – even if such transmission is rare – the epidemic could actually be far from over. (Natural News)

It is unknown whether or not human bodily fluids like sperm played a factor in the most recent cases of ebola, but authorities are once again concerned about it spreading.

As we witnessed, the United States is all too susceptible to an ebola outbreak if it is once again imported into the country by a patient, whether or not they know they are carrying the disease.

It only takes one mistake for things to get crazy.

The CDC and powers that be are either unable or unwilling to protect the country, and may well profit from the control that would follow such a frightful disaster. With the help of America’s Ebola Czar, the real problems were hidden and Americans’ attention was diverted elsewhere – but the threat remains, and could quickly become very serious.

Here’s a look at what to have prepared in the case of such an eventuality resurfacing here at home:

What You Can Do To Prepare

In The Prepper’s Blueprint, Tess Pennington outlines various Pandemic Preparedness tips.

Among her instructions for creating a sick room, Pennington recommends a basic supply list.

Basic Pandemic Preparedness Supply List

But she also notes that a pandemic event will likely lead to significant shutdowns for businesses, government offices, potentially even your doctor’s office, so preparing for that is also an important consideration. And that includes having emergency food, water and other supplies on hand, because the last thing you want to do is have to leave home when those in your town or neighborhood could be carriers of a deadly disease.

The Videos Are In: US Shoppers Go Wild, Beat Each Other Up To Celebrate Black Friday Sales

Nov 29th 2015, 16:55, by Contributing Author

It’s Black Friday which means the US is flooded with videos of its favorite pastime: mauls in the malls, as vicious brawls and fights break out among total strangers across across America’s countless retail outlets.

The first videos trickle in:

And yet, this year there may be a shift.

Moments ago IBM Watson Trend released the latest Thanksgiving online sales which rose 26% from 2014, with mobile traffic reaching nearly 60% of all online traffic, an increase of 14.8% over 2014. According to IBM, consumers spent $123.45/order with 40% of all online sales came from mobile devices, an increase of 24% over Thanksgiving 2014.

Some other notable findings:

  • Smartphones accounted for 47% of all Thanksgiving online traffic vs tablets at 13.7%; smartphones also surpassed tablets in sales, driving 24% of online sales vs tablets at 16%
  • IBM Watson predicts Black Friday online sales up more than 14.5% y/y
  • Consumers indicate top products incl. Apple Watch, Samsung, Sony, LG TVs, Microsoft Surface Pro 4

And while this is good news for the Amazons of the world as consumers continue to migrate to online shopping platforms, this is bad news for traditional brick-and-mortar retailers for whom today was supposed to be the one day when sales are solidly in the “black.”

As Bloomberg summarizes, the online rush comes as Wal-Mart Stores Inc., Macy’s Inc. and other chains roll out their Black Friday specials, aiming to get more shoppers into stores. About 135.8 million Americans are expected to shop in stores or online over the four-day weekend, according to the National Retail Federation, the largest U.S. retail trade organization. The amount they’ve spent has declined over the past two years, dropping 11 percent to $50.9 billion in 2014.

Though consumers are benefiting from lower fuel prices and unemployment rates, retailers have their challenges. Mall traffic is in the midst of a long-term slowdown, and shoppers are spending more on experiences and less on stuff. More recently, a warm autumn has curtailed sales of seasonal merchandise, leaving stores with excess inventory. All those factors point to a need for heavy discounting — good for consumers, but not so great for retailers’ profits.

“From the perspective of the amount of discounting that’s going on, the over-inventory situation, it seems like there are going to be a lot of great deals in the next 45 days,” said Bob Drbul, a retail analyst at Nomura Securities International.

The NRF’s traffic forecast represents a 1.6 percent increase from last year although in a zero-sum market, “there’s a risk that fewer shoppers than expected may show up.” Last year, the NRF had forecast 140.1 million consumers would hit stores and e-commerce sites, 4.8 percent more than actually turned out, according to its post-weekend shopping survey. Expect more of the same as the transition to online shopping accelerates.

Furthermore increasingly more stores are pulling back on their Thanksgiving weekend hours this year and electing to spread more of their specials throughout the month. Wal-Mart said it expects record crowds on Friday, even though it’s putting most of its discounts online first.

So videos of the occasional brawl the best evidence of the demise of traditional retailer comes from in person “channel checks” such as what  TheStreet’s correspondent Brian Sozzi has been doing all night. Here are some of his “ghost town” findings.

Shortages Ahead: Half of Global Gold Production Is No Longer Profitable

Nov 29th 2015, 05:18, by Joshua Krause

gold bullion

When you examine the precious metals market, what you’re really looking at is two separate markets, being fueled by two very different buyers. There are those who feel that the stock market is a great investment, and those who feel that our financial system can’t be trusted. Stock buyers are feeling good right now, so they’re pushing “safe haven” assets out of their portfolios. Meanwhile, the folks who don’t trust the system have put their faith in real gold, and buy it whenever they can.

Unfortunately for gold miners, this asset is priced by the former of the two. Paper gold sets the price of real gold, even though paper gold is being backed by less and less real gold as time goes on. We’re approaching a unique moment where the paper market and the physical market become untangled from each other. They’re beginning to move in opposite directions. As the stock market crowd ditches their paper assets, the price just keeps falling, and the gold bugs are taking advantage of this artificially lowered price while they still can.

As a result, the gold mining community is feeling the pinch. These low prices, coupled with the fact that physical demand is rising, has created the perfect conditions for a supply crunch in the near future.

Half of the gold coming from mines may not be viable at current prices, underscoring the industry’s need for consolidation and output cuts, according to the best-performing producer of the metal in the past decade.

“The more we continue to produce unprofitable gold, the more pressure we put on the gold price,” Randgold Resources Ltd. Chief Executive Officer Mark Bristow said in an interview in Toronto on Friday. “In the medium term, it’s a very bullish outlook for the gold industry. The question is, how long are we going to supply it with unprofitable gold?”

Gold fell to a five-year low on Friday as a rising dollar and speculation that U.S. policy makers will boost interest rates next month curbed the appeal of bullion as a store of value. While industrial metal producers have promised output cuts, “we don’t have that psyche in the gold industry, we just send it off our mine and somebody buys it,” Bristow said.

Gold miners buffeted by the drop in prices are shortening the life of mines by focusing only on the best quality ore, a practice known as high grading, which will restrict future output and support higher prices, according to Bristow. He said in a presentation to bankers in Toronto that the industry life span is down to about five years because companies have been aggressively high grading at the expense of future production.

The stock buying crowd is only thinking in terms of their own little bubble (figuratively and literally). They believe that a strong dollar has “curbed the appeal of bullion as a store of value,” even though that’s clearly not the case. American demand for gold coins doubled in the third quarter of this year, even as prices wallowed in their lowest level in 5 years.

Something else is going on. Demand for the metal is as strong as it’s ever been, depending on which crowd you talk to. But since the people who don’t own the metal for real and don’t like it are the ones who set the price, that price is far lower than what the gold bugs think it’s worth. Now the mining industry is feeling the pressure from these divergent investors. One side is keeping the price low, and the other side is taking advantage.

This will continue until the mines simply can’t afford it. Now that half of the global supply is no longer economical, it’s only a matter of time before these companies have to consolidate or declare bankruptcy, and cut back the supply. When that happens, the demand isn’t going to be that different, but the supply is going to be significantly smaller. There’s a major change coming to the precious metals market, and those of us who hold real gold are going to be the winners.

PETA Sued for Stealing and Euthanizing Family Pet

Nov 28th 2015, 23:32, by Joshua Krause

dog wikimedia

In October of 2014, Virginia resident Wilber Zarate came home to find that his daughter’s pet Chihuahua was missing. After taking a look at the footage recorded by his security camera, he discovered that an employee for PETA had walked right up to his front porch, and taken the dog away (he would later learn that PETA was in the area to round up stray dogs). By the time he showed up to PETA’s shelter in Norfolk, the animal had already been euthanized.

Now his family is suing PETA for the incident. According to the lawsuit, PETA was familiar with their family and well aware that the dog belonged to them. Their employees first tried to get two neighborhood children to lure the dog away, but after the kids failed, one of the workers simply walked up to the home and snatched the dog. The family’s lawyer also asserts that PETA broke a Virginia state law which forbids shelters from euthanizing animals until after 5 days have passed. If they had followed the law, the Zarate family would have been able to retrieve the dog before it was killed.

The Zarates are seeking $7 million for trespassing, as well as the emotional distress their daughter felt after the incident. She apparently “cried for weeks, became lethargic, lost sleep, refrained from eating and lost weight.” They’re also seeking $350,000 from both of the employees who took the dog.

NSA Pretends To Put an End to Mass Surveillance Program

Nov 28th 2015, 20:36, by Joshua Krause

internet surveillance

Over two years after Edward Snowden blew the whistle on the NSA, the secretive agency is finally making some changes. They’re putting an end to the mass metadata surveillance of telephone communications, due to the implementation of the USA Freedom Act. The act was signed into law earlier this year, and beginning at midnight on November 29th, the NSA will have to stop the controversial program.

However, the agency’s surveillance dragnet hasn’t been neutered. The only thing that has changed is the way they collect this data. They can no longer cite article 215 of the Patriot Act, which allowed them to gather phone data on everyone without any restrictions. Now when the NSA receives a warrant from the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court,  they can only collect data that is relevant to specific terms outlined in the warrant, and they can only investigate this information for 6 months. Alex Abdo of the ACLU is calling it a “symbolic victory, given it was the first major concession the intelligence agency had to make.”

Other critics of the NSA however, view the USA Freedom Act as an expansion of the NSA’s powers, rather than a hindrance. It’s only preventing the NSA from collecting a minuscule amount of data, and other executive orders are in place that allow bulk telephone data collection to continue, not to mention their broad collection of internet data, which hasn’t been addressed. It appears that the NSA’s latest concession is little more than a mild annoyance for them.

Switzerland Bans Burkas: “Those Who Rebuff Our Values Are Not Welcome”

Nov 28th 2015, 16:43, by Mac Slavo

Switzerland has long been known for being neutral as it relates to geo-political affairs, especially across Europe.

As hundreds of thousands of middle east “migrants” flood the continent, the Swiss have made it clear that anyone who wishes to reside in their country must adhere not just to their laws, but also their cultural heritage.

While European leaders continue to claim that the majority supports multi-cultural diversity and inclusion, the people of Switzerland have spoken.

Women in many parts of the Middle East are prohibited from being seen without their all-black burqua outfit on. The reverse is true in at least one canton in Switzerland: Muslim women will no longer be allowed to wear their full-body garments in shops, restaurants, public buildings, and other similar places.

According to the new law, the 40,000 Muslim women in Switzerland will still be allowed to wear masks, balaclavas, or crash helmets. However, their head-to-foot body cover will strictly be prohibited. Even visiting tourists must strictly comply with the new law.

Giorgio Ghiringhelli, who drew up the proposal, said the referendum vote is a strong message sent to “Islamist fundamentalists” in the country.

“Those who want to integrate are welcome irrespective of their religion. But those who rebuff our values and aim to build a parallel society based on religious laws, and want to place it over our society, are not welcome,” he said.

Swiss citizens are allowed to own firearms, including the dastardly “assault rifle.”

We suggest they prepare for war with the extremist Islamists who are now peppered throughout Europe.

Geneva has now undoubtedly become a major target.

In case you had any inkling of confusion left as to what exactly is going on in the purposeful remapping of the Middle East right now via intelligence agency-created terrorists…

John Kerry just told everyone exactly what the true goals are in the Middle East. They are creating chaos to bring order to it, their order, a “world order”.

It doesn’t get any more blatant than this.

Steering the Masses Towards Total War

Nov 27th 2015, 21:35, by Contributing Author

It goes without saying that the atrocities of Paris on November 13, 2015 were unspeakable and sickening. But what is not being said in the wake of the incident—what has been ignored by the mass media—is predictably telling and ominous.

As in the wake of 9/11, the people of the world are being provoked, agitated and mobilized; the fear, horror, rage and shock channeled and shaped into wave of collective vengeance and hatred. Hatred towards what and whom?

The Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the attacks. But what is the Islamic State?

The fact that remains willfully unacknowledged is that Islamic State is the guided military-intelligence and political apparatus of the West, created, trained, financed, advised and protected by the West and NATO—including France.

The Islamic State and Islamic extremism, including Al-Qaeda, functions on behalf of NATO and Western geostrategic interests.

The intelligence agencies of the West and NATO, led by the CIA, MI-6, the Mossad, the Pakistani ISI, etc. run the Islamic State terrorists.

Jihadist terrorism would not exist without the nurturing of the West, which started with the Cold War, continued into the conflicts in the Balkans, and exploded with 9/11 and the “war on terrorism”, and continues to metastasize with the so-called war on the Islamic State, a rebranded continuation of the same fabricated criminal war of deception.

The West and its architects of war are ultimately responsible for all acts of terrorism perpetrated by their own terrorist shock troops.

As noted by Michel Chossudovsky,

“the notion that the Paris attack was an act of retribution and revenge directed against France is questionable and contradictory inasmuch as the evidence confirms that France has been channeling weapons to jihadist rebels in Syria including Al Nusrah and ISIS.”

What if it was “blowback”? What if the Paris terrorists went “rogue” and attacked their own sponsors? What if these terrorist cells were “out of control”? What if these and other groups are simply “going berserk” for “inexplicable reasons”? What if one accepts the (highly unlikely) notion that the CIA, the NSA, French intelligence, the Mossad, etc. —agencies with the most sophisticated spying capabilities on the planet—suddenly and simultaneously lost track of everything? There are red herrings. The West is still responsible for the actions of its assets. The West has not “lost control” of the Islamic State. In fact, the terrorists are being run with remarkable efficiency and effectiveness. The chaos and plunder are not random. The atrocities are designed. Were it not for unwelcome Russian “interference”, the Anglo-American empire would now control more geography than it already does. The Syrian regime arguably might have fallen.

Anglo-American war policy is what has set terrorism loose. It continues to sow, foment and expand terrorism in an unimaginable scale, with no end in sight. The trail of blood leads back to the policy, and its policy makers.

This apocalyptic crisis is not a war “on” terror, but a war “of” terror, committed by terrorists, guided by terrorists, and psychopathic war criminals that operate beyond the reach of law.

Stopping terrorism is not the real agenda. In fact, the opposite: the West’s terrorist armies are key assets used to infiltrate and destabilize, to topple the regimes that NATO seeks to co-opt, invade and conquer. One by one they fall in this manner, from Iraq and Libya to what is unfolding now in Syria, towards the even greater agenda.

The “war on the Islamic State” is not even about the Islamic State, no matter what horrific acts are committed by the ISIS/ISIL killers themselves. The war is, and has always been, a superpower world war pitting the West against Russia and China, everywhere Western geostrategic/resource/corporate interests dictate.

The “spectacular” bloodshed—the unspeakable scale and intensity of the murder—will only become more outlandish and “creative”, as the war planners become increasingly desperate to keep the easily distracted masses in home countries galvanized and fearful, and militantly supportive of the larger war agenda, and deepening involvement on the front lines.

Who benefits? Who benefits from weaponizing France and its people? The same forces that have benefitted from all such atrocities since 9/11. All of the governments that are aiming to destabilize, invade, and conquer the Eurasian subcontinent, including the Middle East and Central Asia, and beyond. All of the governments seeking regime change in Syria: NATO.

The operatic expressions of remorse on behalf of officials hide the realpolitik; the cold, calculating sociopathy that views war as industry, mass murder as a means to “victory”, and slaughter of innocents as “necessary collateral damage”. Three thousand dead on 9/11. A jetliner full of Russian tourists. Tens of thousands across the killing fields of the Middle East, Central Asia, and Africa. More than one hundred snuffed out in Paris. All in a day’s work.

The current line justified by the bloody headlines and propaganda is that even more endless “total war” must be waged. President Hollande now channels Dick Cheney’s “war that will not end in our lifetimes”, and George W. Bush’s “with us or against us”.

Paris proves, according to the propaganda, that time is overdue for regime change in Syria. Syria, the “hotbed” of terrorism, where the Islamic State is “out of control”. The Assad regime has “failed to stop it”; therefore the Assad regime must be “taken out” along with the “terrorists”.

It is no coincidence that Paris has prompted President Barack Obama to promise an escalation of military involvement in Syria. More accurately, the justification to openly invade Syria has been given the green light. The “boots on the ground” invasion of Syria, which is already underway, is now accelerated. Obama undoubtedly wants to finish the job before he leaves office in 2016. A new series of air strikes on Raqqa, Syria began less than 48 hours after the Paris attacks.

What of the Paris attacks themselves? The official narrative is being created. Although it is early in the process, questions about the Paris attack are mounting. The similarities to the false flag operation of 9/11 are abundant.

Quoting the New York Times, it “remains unclear how a plot of such sophistication and lethality escaped the notice of intelligence agencies, both in France and abroad.” But emerging evidence suggests that the intelligence agencies not only knew, but knew enough to prepare for the attacks, which suggests that they were allowed to happen.

France had foreknowledge of imminent attacks and preparations were underway weeks before November 13th, including emergency meetings with CIA director John Brenanan, and unusual advanced preparation of first responders—who happened to be ready in Paris on November 13th.

A massive cyberattack—one beyond the capabilities of the terrorists–took down French security systems prior to and during the incident.

French officials knew the attackers and were tracking them continuously for a significant period, yet did nothing to stop them.

From the orchestration and execution of the atrocities themselves, to the response, to the reaction, the signs of long planning, scripting, choreography, and calculation are evident.

There will be incompetence excuses (“we were caught off guard”), hopelessness and chaos excuses (“we cannot predict nor stop anything”), and other variations. But they fail to explain evidence to the contrary.

According to the CIA operatives, think tank “terrorism experts”, and other warmongering blowhards that spewed nonsense nonstop on CNN all day and all night following the Paris attacks, another “new normal” has been set.

All such brainwashing must be resisted.

The larger context must not be lost amidst chaos and panic.

It is the war itself—its architects as well as its murdering operatives—that must be condemned.

The killers who coldly executed innocent people acted on orders from handlers. The handlers themselves had handlers. And they in turn took orders from individuals occupying high positions of power. It is these individuals who must be identified and exposed; their war agenda resisted and stopped. For the sake of what is left of humanity.

Meet the Man Who Funds ISIS: Bilal Erdogan, the Son of Turkey’s President

Nov 27th 2015, 19:45, by Contributing Author

bilal erdogan tile

Russia’s Sergey Lavrov is not one foreign minister known to mince his words. Just earlier today, 24 hours after a Russian plane was brought down by the country whose president three years ago said “a short-term border violation can never be a pretext for an attack”, had this to say: “We have serious doubts this was an unintended incident and believe this is a planned provocation” by Turkey.

But even that was tame compared to what Lavrov said to his Turkish counterparty Mevlut Cavusoglu earlier today during a phone call between the two (Lavrov who was supposed to travel to Turkey has since canceled such plans).

As Sputnik transcribes, according to a press release from Russia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Lavrov pointed out that, “by shooting down a Russian plane on a counter-terrorist mission of the Russian Aerospace Force in Syria, and one that did not violate Turkey’s airspace, the Turkish government has in effect sided with ISIS.

It was in this context when Lavrov added that “Turkey’s actions appear premeditated, planned, and undertaken with a specific objective.

More importantly, Lavrov pointed to Turkey’s role in the propping up the terror network through the oil trade. Per the Russian statement:

“The Russian Minister reminded his counterpart about Turkey’s involvement in the ISIS’ illegal trade in oil, which is transported via the area where the Russian plane was shot down, and about the terrorist infrastructure, arms and munitions depots and control centers that are also located there.”

Others reaffirmed Lavrov’s stance, such as retired French General Dominique Trinquand, who said that “Turkey is either not fighting ISIL at all or very little, and does not interfere with different types of smuggling that takes place on its border, be it oil, phosphate, cotton or people,” he said.

The reason we find this line of questioning fascinating is that just last week in the aftermath of the French terror attack but long before the Turkish downing of the Russian jet, we wrote about “The Most Important Question About ISIS That Nobody Is Asking” in which we asked who is the one “breaching every known law of funding terrorism when buying ISIS crude, almost certainly with the tacit approval by various “western alliance” governments, and why is it that these governments have allowed said middleman to continue funding ISIS for as long as it has?

Precisely one week later, in even more tragic circumstances, suddenly everyone is asking this question.

And while we patiently dig to find who the on and offshore “commodity trading” middleman are, who cart away ISIS oil to European and other international markets in exchange for hundreds of millions of dollars, one name keeps popping up as the primary culprit of regional demand for the Islamic State’s “terrorist oil” – that of Turkish president Recep Erdogan’s son: Bilal Erdogan.

His very brief bio:

Necmettin Bilal Erdogan, commonly known as Bilal Erdogan (born 23 April 1980) is the third child of Recep Tayyip Erdo?an, the current President of Turkey.

After graduating from Kartal Imam Hatip High School in 1999, Bilal Erdogan moved to the US for undergraduate education. He also earned a Masters Degree in John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University in 2004. After graduation, he served in the World Bank as intern for a while. He returned Turkey in 2006 and started to his business life. Bilal Erdogan is one of the three equal shareholders of “BMZ Group Denizcilik “, a marine transportation corporation.

Here is a recent picture of Bilal, shown in a photo from a Turkish 2014 article, which “asked why his ships are now in Syria”:

bilal erdogan

In the next few days, we will present a full breakdown of Bilal’s various business ventures, starting with his BMZ Group which is the name implicated most often in the smuggling of illegal Iraqi and Islamic State through to the western supply chain, but for now here is a brief, if very disturbing snapshot, of both father and son Erdogan by F. William Engdahl, one which should make everyone ask whether the son of Turkey’s president (and thus, the father) is the silent mastermind who has been responsible for converting millions of barrels of Syrian Oil into hundreds of millions of dollars of Islamic State revenue.

By F. William Engdahl, posted originally in New Eastern Outlook:

Erdogan’s Dirth Dangerous ISIS Games

More and more details are coming to light revealing that the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria, variously known as ISIS, IS or Daesh, is being fed and kept alive by Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Turkish President and by his Turkish intelligence service, including MIT, the Turkish CIA. Turkey, as a result of Erdogan’s pursuit of what some call a Neo-Ottoman Empire fantasies that stretch all the way to China, Syria and Iraq, threatens not only to destroy Turkey but much of the Middle East if he continues on his present path.

In October 2014 US Vice President Joe Biden told a Harvard gathering that Erdogan’s regime was backing ISIS with “hundreds of millions of dollars and thousands of tons of weapons…” Biden later apologized clearly for tactical reasons to get Erdo?an’s permission to use Turkey’s Incirlik Air Base for airstrikes against ISIS in Syria, but the dimensions of Erdogan’s backing for ISIS since revealed is far, far more than Biden hinted.

ISIS militants were trained by US, Israeli and now it emerges, by Turkish special forces at secret bases in Konya Province inside the Turkish border to Syria, over the past three years. Erdo?an’s involvement in ISIS goes much deeper. At a time when Washington, Saudi Arabia and even Qatar appear to have cut off their support for ISIS, they remaining amazingly durable. The reason appears to be the scale of the backing from Erdo?an and his fellow neo-Ottoman Sunni Islam Prime Minister, Ahmet Davuto?lu.

Nice Family Business

The prime source of money feeding ISIS these days is sale of Iraqi oil from the Mosul region oilfields where they maintain a stronghold. The son of Erdogan it seems is the man who makes the export sales of ISIS-controlled oil possible.

Bilal Erdo?an owns several maritime companies. He has allegedly signed contracts with European operating companies to carry Iraqi stolen oil to different Asian countries. The Turkish government buys Iraqi plundered oil which is being produced from the Iraqi seized oil wells. Bilal Erdogan’s maritime companies own special wharfs in Beirut and Ceyhan ports that are transporting ISIS’ smuggled crude oil in Japan-bound oil tankers.

Gürsel Tekin vice-president of the Turkish Republican Peoples’ Party, CHP, declared in a recent Turkish media interview, “President Erdogan claims that according to international transportation conventions there is no legal infraction concerning Bilal’s illicit activities and his son is doing an ordinary business with the registered Japanese companies, but in fact Bilal Erdo?an is up to his neck in complicity with terrorism, but as long as his father holds office he will be immune from any judicial prosecution.” Tekin adds that Bilal’s maritime company doing the oil trades for ISIS, BMZ Ltd, is “a family business and president Erdogan’s close relatives hold shares in BMZ and they misused public funds and took illicit loans from Turkish banks.”

In addition to son Bilal’s illegal and lucrative oil trading for ISIS, Sümeyye Erdogan, the daughter of the Turkish President apparently runs a secret hospital camp inside Turkey just over the Syrian border where Turkish army trucks daily being in scores of wounded ISIS Jihadists to be patched up and sent back to wage the bloody Jihad in Syria, according to the testimony of a nurse who was recruited to work there until it was discovered she was a member of the Alawite branch of Islam, the same as Syrian President Bashar al-Assad who Erdogan seems hell-bent on toppling.

Turkish citizen Ramazan Bagol, captured this month by Kurdish People’s Defence Units,YPG, as he attempted to join ISIS from Konya province, told his captors that said he was sent to ISIS by the ‘Ismailia Sect,’ a strict Turkish Islam sect reported to be tied to Recep Erdogan. Baol said the sect recruits members and provides logistic support to the radical Islamist organization. He added that the Sect gives jihad training in neighborhoods of Konya and sends those trained here to join ISIS gangs in Syria.

According to French geopolitical analyst, Thierry Meyssan, Recep Erdogan “organised the pillage of Syria, dismantled all the factories in Aleppo, the economic capital, and stole the machine-tools. Similarly, he organised the theft of archeological treasures and set up an international market in Antioch…with the help of General Benoît Puga, Chief of Staff for the Elysée, he organised a false-flag operation intended to provoke the launching of a war by the Atlantic Alliance – the chemical bombing of la Ghoutta in Damascus, in August 2013. “

Meyssan claims that the Syria strategy of Erdo?an was initially secretly developed in coordination with former French Foreign Minister Alain Juppé and Erdogan’s then Foreign Minister Ahmet Davuto?lu, in 2011, after Juppe won a hesitant Erdogan to the idea of supporting the attack on traditional Turkish ally Syria in return for a promise of French support for Turkish membership in the EU. France later backed out, leaving Erdogan to continue the Syrian bloodbath largely on his own using ISIS.

Gen. John R. Allen, an opponent of Obama’s Iran peace strategy, now US diplomatic envoy coordinating the coalition against the Islamic State, exceeded his authorized role after meeting with Erdogan and “promised to create a “no-fly zone” ninety miles wide, over Syrian territory, along the whole border with Turkey, supposedly intended to help Syrian refugees fleeing from their government, but in reality to apply the “Juppé-Wright plan”. The Turkish Prime Minister, Ahmet Davutoglu, revealed US support for the project on the TV channel A Haber by launching a bombing raid against the PKK.” Meyssan adds.

There are never winners in war and Erdogan’s war against Syria’s Assad demonstrates that in bold. Turkey and the world deserve better. Ahmet Davutoglu’s famous “Zero Problems With Neighbors” foreign policy has been turned into massive problems with all neighbors due to the foolish ambitions of Erdogan and his gang.

One Year Before Paris Attacks, France Denounced Monstrous TTIP Trade Deal

Nov 27th 2015, 18:02, by Contributing Author

The TTIP is under fire for a wide number of reasons. Everything from Intellectual Property Rights, GMO’s, stopping the harmful effects of fracking, ;pharmaceutical drug company monopolies and internet surveillance are major concerns for anyone living in Europe at this time of TTIP negotiations. In fact, the TTIP, or Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership has faced massive opposition from people all over Europe and indeed the world, including over 50,000 protesters in Germany in early 2015. Similarly, a European Anti-TTIP petition launched in 2014 gained over 1 million signatures in just two months, showing great opposition from an informed European public.

The TTIP would create loopholes that if passed, would allow for genetically modified foods from America to flood European markets despite the EU’s current ban. The agreement would also expand fracking in Europe, compromising citizen health as well as the environment for the sake of corporate profit.

This is all achieved through something called the Investor State Dispute Settlement mechanism (ISDS), which is included in the TTIP agreement. This mechanism would allow corporations to take entire countries to “private international tribunals” if they pass a law which undermines their “expected future profits”. This means that if GMO labeling or fracking restrictions interfere with a company’s figures, that country will be taken to a secret international court, tried and forced to compensate for their loss. In other words, the European TTIP and American TPP agreements are the end of democracy and the beginning of total corporate dominance of our planet and lives.

This monster agreement isn’t being taken “as is” without a fight, however. France’s Secretary of State for Foreign Trade Matthias Fekl and European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker have both spoken out against the Investor State Dispute Settlement mechanism (ISDS) section of the treaty.

EurActiv France reports:

“Matthias Fekl, France’s Secretary of State for Foreign Trade, has made it clear that France will not support the inclusion of the Investor State Dispute Settlement mechanism (ISDS) in a potential TTIP agreement. The ISDS is a point of heated debate between the EU and the United States … ‘France did not want the ISDS to be included in the negotiation mandate,’ Matthias Fekl told the French Senate. ‘We have to preserve the right of the state to set and apply its own standards, to maintain the impartiality of the justice system and to allow the people of France, and the world, to assert their values”

All of this was reported exactly one year before the attacks in Paris on Nov 13, 2015.

Unfortunately, this agreement is kept so secret that only specific pieces have been leaked out to the public. Knowing as much as we do, it certainly is a good sign that France’s Matthias Fekl opposed the TTIP a year ago, but can we expect the same in 2016? After having a horrific incident in Paris where multiple attacks occured, several deaths, and much media attention, can we expect continued opposition to the TTIP before the fate of Europe is sealed?

Video Shows Syrian “Rebels” Blowing up Russian Rescue Helicopter with U.S. Missile

Nov 27th 2015, 16:35, by Melissa Dykes

So, not only did rebel Turkmen admit to firing on the Russian pilots from the ground as they attempted to parachute to safety from their downed plane, including the surviving pilot who they claimed they killed but who lived to tell the story of how his plane was shot down without any warning from Turkey whatsoever, but…

Now video has been released reportedly showing the Syrian rebels firing a U.S.-made missile at the Russian helicopters sent in to rescue the pilots.

Gee, wonder if these are those “vetted” rebels John McCain is always talking about.

Meanwhile, in lieu of a direct war response (at least, at the time of writing this), Russia has threatened billions in economic sanctions against Turkey.
