Senate GOP silent on claims of Bush 41 groping

Nov 14th 2017, 20:32, by -NO AUTHOR-

(BREITBART) — At least eight Republican senators have condemned Alabama Judge Roy Moore’s alleged misconduct with minors, but none of them will yet disavow former President George H.W. Bush after six women accused him of unwanted sexual contact.

The Washington Post released a story last week that alleged Roy Moore engaged in inappropriate conduct with minors. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and several other establishment lawmakers called on Roy Moore to drop out the race after hearing the accusations.

On Monday, McConnell called on Moore to step down. He added, “I believe the women.”

Claim: Congressman ‘exposed self’ to female staffer

Nov 14th 2017, 19:43, by -NO AUTHOR-

(THE HILL) — Efforts to combat sexual harassment on Capitol Hill gained momentum on Tuesday as female lawmakers shared stories of male colleagues engaging in predatory behavior.

Lawmakers in both parties had already expressed support for mandatory sexual harassment awareness training, which currently is only voluntary for legislative branch staffers. But they went further in a House Administration Committee on Capitol Hill’s harassment policies and said even more can be done in a male-dominated workplace where sexual harassment can be pervasive.

Rep. Jackie Speier (D-Calif.), in testimony before the panel, said at least two current members of Congress have engaged in sexual harassment.

Lawsuit demands Donna Brazile tell all about Seth Rich shooting

Nov 14th 2017, 19:16, by Alicia Powe

Former DNC Chairwoman Donna Brazile

Former DNC Chairwoman Donna Brazile

WASHINGTON – The Washington lawyer who’s been on the hunt for slain DNC staffer Seth Rich’s killer and is suing the Democratic National Committee and Hillary Clinton for allegedly rigging the 2016 presidential primary against Bernie Sanders now is going after another high-powered Democrat: Donna Brazile.

Brazile knows the truth about Rich’s mysterious death, attorney and Republican lobbyist Jack Burkman contends.

As WND reported, Burkman filed a lawsuit on Oct. 18 against the Democratic National Committee and scandal-ridden twice-failed Democrat presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton in D.C. Superior Court.

The complaint is seeking financial compensation for Sanders’ supporters who contributed to the Vermont senator’s campaign by donating to the DNC. Burkman is also demanding the release of the DNC emaile server, which contained troves of Clinton campaign and DNC emails that were published by whistleblower organization WikiLeaks.

Burkman amended the suit Tuesday to include Donna Brazile, the former interim DNC chief, amid bombshell revelations she makes in her book.

There, she claims the DNC conspired to ensure Hillary Clinton won the primary over Bernie Sanders.

Dinesh D’Souza breaks new ground again, with “The Big Lie: Exposing the Nazi Roots of the American Left,” now in the WND Superstore.

She also explains that she was frightened following the July 10, 2016, unsolved murder of Rich. In fact, she dedicated the book to Rich, whom she calls a “patriot.”

As WND has reported, Rich, 27, was the DNC’s voter expansion data director. He had accepted a position with Clinton’s campaign just before his death.

In the summer of 2016, in the heat of a highly contentious presidential campaign, Rich was fatally shot in the back in Washington, D.C., near his apartment in an affluent neighborhood. Rich had been working for the DNC at a time when emails from the organization were provided to WikiLeaks for publication.

The series of emails revealed that high-ranking DNC officials and the Clinton team sabotaged Sanders’ candidacy, used racist, anti-gay and sexist slurs when referring to constituents and were engaged in bizarre occult rituals.

The Metropolitan Police Department and Washington Mayor Muriel Bowers insist Rich was randomly killed during a “botched robbery.” But others are doubtful because he was found with his wallet, credit cards and other valuables.

“Brazile writes that she was haunted by the still-unsolved murder of DNC data staffer Seth Rich and feared for her own life, shutting the blinds to her office window so snipers could not see her and installing surveillance cameras at her home,” the Washington Post reported. “She wonders whether Russians had placed a listening device in plants in the DNC executive suite.”

Prior to replacing Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz as DNC chief in July amid the email leaks, Brazille was a CNN contributor and a Hillary for America donor and was caught providing Clinton with questions that would later be asked of Clinton at a televised CNN town hall.

Brazile denied leaking the questions to Clinton in an interview with Fox News before the election. But in a March 17, 2017, column for Time magazine, she finally admitted doing so, saying it was a “mistake I will forever regret.”

The release of the server and the discovery phase of the lawsuit would shed light on who killed Rich, said Burkman, who established the independent Profiling Project to solve the Rich murder.

Brazile has provided incomplete information about what she knows, Burkman argues, but filing a lawsuit will force Brazile to say what she knows – under oath.

If Rich was killed during a botched robbery, why would the former interim chair of the Democratic National Committee subsequently fear for her life, believing “snipers might shoot and kill her,” Burkman told WND in a statement.

“If this were a random murder like police have maintained, why did Ms. Brazile fear for her own life,” he said. “Brazile can clearly also offer critical information about what role the DNC [had in] Hillary Clinton’s primary win.”

“Brazile has openly admitted to liability in her book,” Burkman said. “She has admitted that she and others rigged the Democratic primaries in favor of Hillary Clinton. We are therefore expanding our complaint to include her.

“More importantly, she is now openly suggesting that the DNC may have killed Seth. Her comment that she felt compelled to draw her blinds and avoid the window is one of the most striking comments in modern American political history,” he said.

As WND reported, Burkman claims MPD officials are withholding key evidence from the public and obstructing the Rich investigation for political purposes. He’s separately filed a lawsuit against the MPD, demanding the release of Rich’s medical examiner’s report, autopsy documents and ballistics reports, documents that are typically made public during murder investigations.

The Profiling Project concluded in June that Rich’s murder was most likely “committed by a hired killer or serial murderer” because “the crime scene was very organized to the point of being sanitized.”

Burkman is offering $105,000 and WikiLeaks is offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of Rich’s killer. One America News Network offered up $100,000, the Metropolitan Police Department $25,000 and businessman and investor Martin Shkreli $100,000.

The DNC, however, has offered no reward to help find the killer of its staffer. Instead, the DNC honored its murdered employee by dedicating a bike rack outside its headquarters in Rich’s memory.

Rich’s story has been largely ignored by establishment media. Those who have called attention to the suspicious circumstances surrounding the murder have been branded “conspiracy theorists,” including Fox News host Sean Hannity

Yet, WikiLeaks’ Julian Assange, in an August 2016 interview, appeared to suggest that Rich was one of his sources.

The latest DNC email released by WikiLeaks was dated May 18, 2016 – just weeks before Rich was murdered.

In May, a private investigator alleged in an interview with WND that Brazile called police and Rich’s family demanding to know why a the private eye was “snooping” into Rich’s death.

The investigator, Rod Wheeler, was hired by the Rich family in March to find the DNC staffer’s murderer, but was sent a “cease and desist” order by the family in May. Wheeler told WND that he was appalled the Rich family changed their mind about his investigation only after Brad Bauman, a Democratic political crisis consultant, was “assigned” to represent the Rich family.

Dinesh D’Souza breaks new ground again, with “The Big Lie: Exposing the Nazi Roots of the American Left,” now in the WND Superstore.

High-school student shoots, kills self in bus loop

Nov 14th 2017, 19:02, by -NO AUTHOR-

(ORLANDO SENTINEL) — MINNEOLA, Florida — A Lake Minneola High School student described by a friend as “a really nice kid” shot and killed himself Tuesday morning in the school’s bus loop during a fire drill, school district and sheriff’s officials said.

The student, identified this afternoon as Seth Sutherland, 17, had been separated from other students, authorities said.

“It does not appear anyone actually witnessed it,” sheriff’s Lt. John Herrell said.

Dozens of panicked parents who hurried to the school with about 1,800 students, which had been placed on lockdown following the shooting, finally were allowed to pick up their children starting at 11:10 a.m. so long as they had their IDs and were on the pickup list created when they registered their kids.

People sold as slaves, auctioned for $400

Nov 14th 2017, 18:49, by -NO AUTHOR-

(CNN) — Tripoli, Libya — “Eight hundred,” says the auctioneer. “900 … 1,000 … 1,100 …” Sold. For 1,200 Libyan dinars — the equivalent of $800.

Not a used car, a piece of land, or an item of furniture. Not “merchandise” at all, but two human beings.

One of the unidentified men being sold in the grainy cell phone video obtained by CNN is Nigerian. He appears to be in his twenties and is wearing a pale shirt and sweatpants.

He has been offered up for sale as one of a group of “big strong boys for farm work,” according to the auctioneer, who remains off camera. Only his hand — resting proprietorially on the man’s shoulder — is visible in the brief clip.

California shootings leave 5 dead in 7 locations, including school

Nov 14th 2017, 18:44, by -NO AUTHOR-

At least five people are dead and 10 wounded from apparent random shootings Tuesday morning at seven different locations in rural Northern California.

One of the locations was an elementary school, police said, where at least one student was airlifted to hospitals with injuries but no deaths were reported at the school. The dead included the shooter, who was killed by police.

One student was shot at the Rancho Tehama School, an elementary school in Corning, about 130 miles north of Sacramento.

Police said the shooter, armed with a rifle and two handguns, appeared to randomly pick his targets. Two officers engaged the shooter, who was shot dead. His motive remains unclear.

Police said a child and an adult woman were shot while traveling in a truck.

Rancho Tehama resident Salvador Tello told the Record Searchlight he was taking his three children to school when the gunman fired at a truck in front of him.

He said he saw bullets hit the truck in front of him, so he made his children get down and put his truck in reverse.

Tello said that, as he left, he saw a woman lying dead in the street with her husband next to her, apparently wounded.

Undersheriff Phil Johnston with the Tehama County Sheriff’s Office told the Record Searchlight the victim toll may rise. He confirmed two children were also shot and wounded, and the shootings happened at seven or more different spots.

One father, Coy Ferreira, told ABC News’ Redding, California, affiliate KRCR-TV he was dropping his daughter off for kindergarten when he heard what sounded like a firecracker.

A school employee ran out and yelled for the children to get inside the classrooms because someone was shooting at the school, Ferreira said.

That’s when he said he ran into a classroom and multiple shots came through the classroom windows, hitting a student.

About 100 students attend Rancho Tehama School, which was placed on lockdown, Ann Bates, administrative assistant to the superintendent of the Corning Union Elementary School District, told ABC News.

The Rancho Tehama Reserve — a subdivision of about 1,485 people — is described on its website as a “quiet private country community” located 12 miles west of Interstate 5 between Red Bluff and Corning. The community is a place “where people are friendly and the pace is relaxed,” the website reads.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the area was 86.3 percent white in 2010 and had a poverty rate then of 43 percent.

Resident Brian Flint told the Searchlight he got a call in the morning that his roommate was injured and that his truck had been stolen. It turned out his neighbor was the gunman, Flint said.

“The crazy thing is that the neighbor has been shooting a lot of bullets lately, hundreds of rounds, large magazines,” Flint told the newspaper. “We made it aware that this guy is crazy and he’s been threatening us.”

Living near the gunman was “hell,” Flint said, and the man was a known felon who often harassed him and his neighbors.

Catholic leaders signal resistance to papal agenda

Nov 14th 2017, 18:13, by -NO AUTHOR-

(NATIONAL CATHOLIC REPORTER) — The U.S. bishops broke tradition this morning selecting Archbishop Joseph Naumann of Kansas City, Kansas, to serve as chairman of the Pro-Life Activities Committee. He defeated Cardinal Blase Cupich of Chicago on a vote of 96 to 82. Not to put too fine a point on it, but this amounted to the bishops giving the middle finger to Pope Francis.

The Pro-Life Activities Committee has always been led by a cardinal, a way the bishops have signaled the priority they assign to that committee. The current chair is Cardinal Timothy Dolan who, like Naumann, is a protégé of Cardinal Justin Rigali. Some of us who have been watching the bishops for a long time from the bleachers on the left have a saying about Rigali’s career: “He has ruined everything he ever touched.” In giving his committee report on Monday, Dolan singled out Naumann for praise. It was a none too subtle placing of his finger on the scales.

The contrast between the two candidates for chair of the Pro-Life Activities Committee was the starkest of the choices the bishops faced. Naumann and Cupich are both representative of the two divergent understandings of how the church should interact with the ambient culture. Naumann is a culture warrior. Cupich champions engagement and dialogue.

77% of Dems with 4-year degrees: Sex not determined at birth

Nov 14th 2017, 17:56, by -NO AUTHOR-

(BREITBART) — Three out of four college-educated Democrats seem to believe that a man can be a woman if he just says so, regardless of his biology, genetics, and genitalia, according to a skewed survey conducted by the Pew Research Center.

The main question in the August-to-September survey of 4,573 people is built on the phrase: “sex assigned at birth.” But that phrase was invented by transgender activists to help them claim that every person’s sex is independent of their biology and that a newborn’s sex should not be unfairly “assigned” by the doctors and parents who examine the newborns’ biology and visible genitalia. The Pew survey asked:

Which statement comes closer to your views, even if neither is exactly right?

Whether someone is a man or a woman is determined by the sex they were assigned at birth

Someone can be a man or a woman even if that is different from the sex they were assigned at birth
